All ready for the great inauguration of the Musical May Fiorentino: saturday 26 you open will take them to the way under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic settantunesima the edition of the Festival, dedicated this year to the topic “Women against”, with a evening entitled meaningfully “NEVER MORE' - the MAY AGAINST ALL the “Women against”, that she sees Zubin protagonists Mehta, Charlotte Rampling, Peter Greenaway, the Orchestra and the Chorus of the May.
And to the eve of the opening, extraordinary news arrives one: for edition 2007, the May adjudicates two PRIZES very HAS to YOU, the within Critical acknowledgment of the Association Musical Italians, practically the Oscar of the specialistic critic.
Fra tutti gli spettacoli andati in scena la scorsa Stagione in Italia, Antigone di Ivan Fedele, che aveva inaugurato il Festival segnando il debutto nell’opera del compositore italiano, è stata considerata la migliore novità in assoluto, mentre la Fura dels Baus ottiene il doppio riconoscimento per l’ideazione dell’allestimento wagneriano, scene e costumi, di Oro del Reno e Valkiria.
Dunque entusiasmo ai vertici del Teatro del Maggio, per il duplice onore che premia il le scelte del Sovrintendente Francesco Giambrone e del Direttore Artistico Paolo Arcà, ma anche il lavoro collettivo di tutte le maestranze artistiche e tecniche che hanno reso possibile la realizzazione di spettacoli di tale levatura.
