"May" in triumph: two Abbiati by critics Italian

Everything ready for the great inauguration of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino: Saturday, April 26 will start under the patronage of President of the Republic the seventy-first edition of the Festival, devoted this year to the theme "Women against", with an evening entitled significantly "NEVER MORE '- THE MAY AGAINST ALL WARS ", which sees players Zubin Mehta, Charlotte Rampling, Peter Greenaway, the Orchestra and Chorus of May.
And on the eve of opening, comes an extraordinary news: for the 2007 edition, May wins two PRIZES ABBIATI, ambėto recognition of the Music Critics Italians, practically the Oscar of specialized critical.
Of all the shows went on stage last season in Italy, Antigone by Ivan Fedele, who had inaugurated the festival marking the debut in the Italian composer, was considered the best news ever, while the Fura dels Baus gets double recognition for their exhibition design wagneriano, sets and costumes, Gold of the Rhine and Valkiria.
So enthusiasm at the top of the Teatro del Maggio, for the double honour that rewards the choices of Superintendent Francesco Giambrone and Artistic Director Paul Arcā, but also the collective work of all workers and artistic techniques that have made possible the realization of performances this calibre.
